About me

I’m Faizan, a software engineer who enjoys understanding how things work and finding ways to make them better. At Techlogix, I work on backend systems and enterprise integrations, bringing curiosity, ownership, and clear communication to the challenges I take on.

Away from work, I enjoy discovering new places, meeting people, and making room for adventure. Creativity keeps me curious, faith keeps me grounded, and the people around me give life its richness.

02 — Impact

Engineering impact

Enterprise delivery, backend development, automation, and engineering ownership across real-world systems.

  1. Enterprise API Gateway Migration

    Forum Systems / BCBSM

    Technologies

Forum Sentry · MuleSoft · IBM IIB · Salesforce · XSLT · XPath · ReadyAPI

    Contribution

Developed and migrated enterprise APIs to Forum Sentry, implemented XSLT/XPath transformations, supported gateway policies and configurations, contributed testing, and introduced automation while collaborating with senior engineers and architects.

    Engineering challenge

Migrating integrations from MuleSoft and IBM Integration Bus required preserving API behavior, mappings, validation, gateway policies, configuration, and delivery quality while adapting implementations to Forum Sentry.

    Impact

The migration was completed successfully. Practical automation reduced repetitive manual work and saved engineering time, while the overall contribution earned special professional recognition.

  2. eZfile / LEAP

Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP)

    Technologies

Java · Spring Boot · Backend Engineering · Digital Workflows

    Contribution

Contribute backend development to SECP’s eZfile initiative (under the LEAP - Leading Efficiency through Automation Prowess project), supporting modernization of the corporate registry and the digital workflows behind company incorporation and post-incorporation filings.

    Engineering challenge

The platform spans company incorporation, post-incorporation filings, statutory returns, built-in checks, guidance messages, and regulatory workflows, requiring backend work across a broad domain of interconnected business processes and filing requirements.

    Impact

The backend work supports SECP’s transition from its previous eServices filing system toward a more sophisticated, user-friendly online portal and contributes to the broader LEAP objective of end-to-end business-process automation.

  3. Internal Content Management System

    Vizrex Software Solutions

    Technologies

    Laravel · Vue.js · PHP · JavaScript

    Contribution

Worked in a three-intern team on an internal CMS, debugging and optimizing Laravel backend modules while also contributing to design, UI/UX brainstorming, usability discussions, and evolving implementation requirements.

    Engineering challenge

The team had to improve data flow, responsiveness, application stability, and usability while researching technical issues, experimenting with solutions, and adapting continuously to changing requirements and timelines.

    Impact

The engagement strengthened practical experience in backend development, debugging, system architecture, collaborative problem-solving, and product usability while delivering improvements across the internal application’s technical and user-facing behavior.

Projects & Explorations

Academic systems that reflect my approach to problem solving, architecture, and product thinking.

Final Year Project

CORE — Community of Rescue & Events

A geolocation-based platform intended to enable real-time communication and volunteer-assisted rescue services.

Problem

Community incidents and rescue requests can be difficult to coordinate when nearby people lack a shared, location-aware channel for timely updates, verification, and volunteer response.

Solution

CORE bridges local community alerts with structured volunteer workflows through interactive mapping, proximity routing, verified status updates, and location-aware channels across web and mobile.

Academic Project

CrimePulse

A crime-reporting application designed around multiple user roles.

Problem

Crime reporting across different user roles can become fragmented when reports, interactions, and responsibilities are handled without a shared workflow or centralized application.

Solution

CrimePulse provides a multi-role reporting application built with Laravel, React.js, and Node.js, bringing structured reporting and role-based interactions into a single shared system.
